Mulberrys uses recycled wood for our hangers and recyclable garment bags. Our San Francisco-area facility is powered by solar energy while our cleaning center in the Minneapolis area is powered by wind energy. But we don’t stop there, as we also strive to increase reliance on green power production for our cleaning facilities. This means Mulberrys does not contribute a net release of carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere, offsetting those emissions by planting trees. Mulberrys is also incredibly proud to be a carbon-neutral business. Our commitment to eco-friendly, green dry cleaning practices extends beyond our use of 100% non-toxic cleaning techniques. Environmentally Responsible Dry Cleaning and Laundry This enables us to return your clothes cleaner and without the chemical smell while following environmentally friendly dry cleaning practices to preserve our planet. At Mulberrys Garment Care, our award-winning dry cleaning and stain removal experts use toxin-free, organic dry cleaning solvents and detergents to clean your clothes. Mulberrys’ dry cleaning services in Minneapolis and San Francisco combine classic craftsmanship with 100% toxin-free technologies that are innovative, safe, and environmentally friendly. Ordinary dry cleaners use harsh chemicals such as perchloroethylene or siloxane and high levels of heat to dry clean your clothes. We are sorry our company was not a good fit for you and hope you can find something that's a better fit for your needs.Organic Dry Cleaning That’s 100% Non-Toxic! It's understandable you might view this as favoritism, since we take confidentiality seriously and so don't share details of these situations with other staff members. It may be that what appeared to be favoritism was us working with an employee in need. Sometimes that care means working with people during extenuating circumstances - perhaps being flexible with emergency leave and even granting paid leave from our Employee Assistance Fund or Short-Term Disability benefit. Secondly, we take great pride in holding all employees to the same standard and care deeply about everyone who works here. First, we do not ask or allow anyone to work sick, particularly during COVID. At the same time, some assertions in this review are simply not true and since they involve health and safety, we felt a response was warranted. We understand that our company is not for everyone, and there is always room to improve. Everything is a computer algorithm, managers have never been to any of the houses, so if the computer says it should take you 4 hours to clean one house, but it actually takes 6 hours, management does not care and will keep crushing you with a schedule that you physically cannot complete. If you haven’t worked there for years, they don’t care about you, and have trouble retaining staff. If you finish early, they just give you more work, which doesn’t make people work faster. There is no culture, you don’t know anyone else who works there. Management is cliquish and plays favorites. If you’re new and get a client that tips, they will give that house to a cleaner who’s been there longer and keep giving you other houses. They say they hire in all these random towns, but you will primarily be in down town Portland. You never know where you’ll be, it’s never a set schedule. They pay for gas but not the time you drive from house to house. You only get a third of whatever the client pays.
